On 21 April 2024, we set off from the beautiful city of Turin on our bike ride to Adelaide, Australia.

We traveled roughly 22,000 kilometers over about 300 days, dedicating this journey to Silia, Andrea’s mother, whom we said goodbye to on November 20.

We had first planned this trip in 2020, but postponed it when she was diagnosed in January 2021, choosing to spend that precious time with family.

We recognize the importance of research, especially for metastatic breast cancer, the illness that affected Silia, the field of study that gave her three extra years of life with us.

That’s why we’ve organized a fundraiser to support the Veronesi Foundation, one of the world’s leading cancer research institutes.

Your generosity became our tailwind, the force that carried us from Turin all the way to Adelaide.

We crossed mountains and deserts, faced sun, wind, and rain, and on the steepest climbs your support kept us moving forward. Every donation, no matter how small, helped us make a difference, and continues to do so.
